11-Feb-07 - 16-Feb-07
brought to you by the Dhamma Sukha Meditation Center and Bhante Vimalaramsi
6. We need to hear from you all once a day, how you are doing in your sessions. Keep it short and ask questions as we go along. For retreat correspondence, core members should e-mail: bvretreat@yahoo.com
7. You may find it very helpful to engage in the discussion group as the retreat progresses. This time the discussion will be held on the new forum (http://dhammasukha.org/phpBB2/) NOTE: You must first register for the forum in order to view the retreat discussion - it will not be visible except to active members of the forum. Also - note that last minute updates and schedule changes will be announced on the forum - best to register early. Due to spammers, new members have to be manually approved before they can become active.
8. Each night you will be asked to listen to a Dhamma talk online that Bhante has done. This is the same as our retreats. YOU MUST ALL LISTEN TO THE SAME TALK so we can discuss questions as we go along for that talk. If you sit in a chair instead of cross-legged on a cushion, then please sit with your feet flat on the floor, and do not cross your legs or arms.
About sitting on a chair - always please note that the most important thing is not to sit back into the back of the chair! Best to put a rolled towel at the base of your back to keep you to the front and not sitting back into the chair. It's important not to cut off the natural energy flow of the back.
