J.B. Handley is the co-founder and chairman of Generation Rescue, a non-profit organization focused on helping children recover from autism that was inspired by the journey of his son, Jamison, who was diagnosed with autism in 2004. In the first half, he offered an explanation of what's causing the autism epidemic, and the steps parents and society can take to end it. The severity of autism, he remarked, has been "whitewashed" as most of those with the condition will be heavily impacted and grow up barely able to take care of themselves. One of the confounding issues of autism, he continued, is that it can't be diagnosed through either blood or genetic tests. Rather it's identified through behaviors around communication and socialization which manifest on a spectrum.
Published research shows that neuroinflammation is associated with autism, he stated, and impairs the processing functions of the brain. While Handley pins the cause of autism on certain vaccinations, he believes that some children are more susceptible to damaging reactions from the shots and can be screened ahead of time to see if they're at risk. Some of the red flags that indicate a greater risk include a maternal history of autoimmune problems, mutations of the MTHFR gene, mitochondrial disorder, and physical maladies such as ear infection or eczema. Handley said that in some cases autism can be recovered from, especially if countermeasures are started earlier in life. The approaches he cited included changing diet, removing heavy metals from the body, and improving immune system function.
From Coast to Coast AM with George Noury and Jeff Smith
From the Coast website:
In the first half, Director of the Institute for Responsible Technology and the leading spokesperson on the health dangers of genetically modified foods, Jeffrey Smith talked about the epic battlefronts on the war over GMOs. Monsanto, the largest manufacturer of genetically engineered seeds, is merging with Bayer and will be known as Bayer going forward. The Germany-based Bayer has a dubious history, Smith cited, noting their manufacture of poisons like Zyklon B in WWII that were used to kill more than a million people in Auschwitz. Monsanto, he suggested, was reliant on their Roundup pesticide, which has been failing, and this may have motivated the merger. The company, he added, has a tremendous liability as they're being sued by thousands of people with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma after the W.H.O. declared glyphosate (the active ingredient in Roundup) as a probable human carcinogen.
The USDA just released a draft of its proposed rules on labeling GMOs, and Smith finds it to reveal a "schizophrenic split" in the government, which no longer is completely backing companies like Monsanto. But instead of a warning label of GMO, they want to use "B.E." for bio-engineered, with a smiling sun for the logo. Smith expressed concern that the biotech industry as a whole has expanded and is now seeking to or already genetically engineering fish, insects, livestock, bacteria, viruses, and algae. "They want to eliminate billions of years of evolution," he lamented, and replace it all with designer organisms and genes, rushed to the market without adequate testing while their patents are still active.
News segment is at the beginning which you can fast forward through if desired.
In the latter half, columnist for the Independent in London for over ten years, Johann Hari, discussed the current epidemic of depression. Depression is not generally caused by a chemical imbalance, he uncovered in his research, and that's why pharmaceutical antidepressants stop working for patients, as it did for himself when he was prescribed Paxil. Hari found nine main causes for depression and anxiety-- two of them biological, and the other seven are related to the way we live. Some of these conditions, he pointed out, are rising in our society such as loneliness and lack of meaning and connection.
One of the most significant sources of mental health problems may stem from people's employment-- a survey indicated that 24% hate their jobs, and 63% are just sleepwalking through them. A program in East London for depressed/anxious people in which they developed underutilized land into a garden was found to be successful in turning lives around, he reported, as was a similar experiment in Norway that was said to be twice as effective as antidepressants. If you're depressed or anxious, that's not a sign of craziness, Hari remarked. "That's a sign that your deepest needs are not being met."

In the first half, executive director of the Institute for Responsible Technology and a leading spokesperson on the health dangers of genetically modified foods, Jeffrey Smith talked about the epic battlefronts on the war for GMOs including the use of faulty science and cover-ups to hide the many health conditions which are improved when patients switch to non-GMO diets. The majority of corn and soy are genetically engineered in the US to be sprayed with Roundup herbicide (glyphosate), and the residues it leaves in foods may lead to numerous diseases and ailments, he stated. The insecticide Bt-toxin used on GM corn can cause immune system problems, and leaky gut, he added (further info in a recent paper by Smith).
Interestingly, he reported that "super-weeds" are starting to outsmart Monsanto (the makers of Roundup), in the way that antibiotic overuse has limited drugs' effectiveness against infections. Smith also expressed concern with recent developments in gene editing, and a controversial form of genetic engineering called gene drives, which can alter or even wipe out entire species. The Cayman Islands, he noted, approved the island-wide release of a genetically engineered mosquito. HOST George Noory -#1 late night talk show Coast to Coast AM
GUESTS Dr. Christian Wilde
When Tumeric is added to a course of Chemo the cure rate for some cancers climbs to 92%!!!!
In the first half, author and researcher Christian Wilde discussed various breakthrough treatments and approaches for cancer, and heart disease. While he has long cited the anti-cancerous benefits of the supplement turmeric, the FDA has taken notice, and is currently conducting some 181 trials for treating various types of cancer, sometimes in combination with standard chemotherapy drugs (Wilde provided a graphic below which shows the amplified healing effect of turmeric when combined with other treatments). Immunotherapy is another promising approach for treating certain types of cancers, he noted, and can be used for patients even if they have previously undergone chemotherapy.
After receiving an immunotherapy drug, one in 10 patients in the UK who were expected to die from kidney cancer, had a complete recovery, and their tumors were eradicated, he marveled. Another promising approach is a new class of drugs called PD-1 inhibitors, which activate the immune system to attack tumors. Wilde also talked about a highly effective new cardiology treatment for calcified arteries called Jetstream by Boston Scientific.
This is the best tumeric out there HERE
